As the Scientist for Product Compatibility, you will evaluate suitability of new materials, design and document laboratory studies related to product compatibility within production materials (single-use systems and components) and primary packaging across our portfolio of injectable products.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Design the compatibility studies, including monitoring, trending stability and reporting
• Prepare documentation such as suitability evaluations, study reports and protocols
• Provide external documentation of production materials and primary packaging for submission
You will closely collaborate with colleagues in the department, and you will work cross functionally with various stakeholders across departments and productions sites. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and changing environment with a highly engaged and supportive team. Please note that this is a temporary position for 15 months. Qualifications
We are looking for someone who easily navigates complex global environment and is not afraid to take on new challenges. Our ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills and can easily share ideas and solutions.
To succeed in this position, you have:
• BSc., MSc. or PhD within Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or other relevant academic area; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• At least 2 years of experience from pharmaceutical industry, preferably within GMP regulated/ aseptic production, or other highly regulated environment
• Material knowledge such as polymers as well as experience with stability studies
• Experience within product compatibility and extractables & leachables is an advantage
• Professional proficiency in English
On a personal level, you are driven and you take initiatives making impact on the business. Furthermore, you have strong collaboration skills and can work seamlessly across networks and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
About the department
In Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products (PS IFP), we produce a large portfolio of products fighting serious chronic diseases worldwide.
Department New Product Introduction (NPI) is a part of IFP Manufacturing Development and consists of approx. 70 employees divided between 5 teams situated in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our main responsibility is to ensure a smooth transition of development products into large scale production and market approval.
The position is in Compatibility Team, a group of 20 highly skilled employees - both Scientists and Laboratory Technicians. The main responsibility of the team is to set direction, evaluate and carry out studies related to product compatibility with production materials, primary packaging, and insulin pumps across our portfolio of injectable products.
