The position
We offer a challenging job that will provide you with an inside perspective into how works with financial processes across the organization. Your main tasks as an Internal Finance Auditor are: Leading and further developing the audit framework for Capex project audits as well as co-host trend sharing sessions within the organization to help optimize the internal control environment and processes. Performing audits and sparring visits related to internal financial controls, and the consolidated financial report, to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and reporting in line with the IFRS standards. Participating in our digital projects in Group Internal Audit (GIA). Opportunity to participate in ESG audits, business ethics audits or in investigations received via Novo Nordisk’s whistle-blower system.
Qualifications You hold a MSc or similar in Finance, Accounting or Auditing and are fully proficient in written and spoken English. Other success criteria are: Minimum three years of experience working in a large auditing firm. Experience with Capex project audits and/or internal audit is advantageous. Capable of leading audits with robust stakeholder management skills, serving as a strong sparring partner for the line of business. Motivated by working both as part of a team and on independent assignments, demonstrating high level of energy, a good sense of humor and the ability to maintain focus when handling complex issues under pressure. Willing to travel up to 40 days per year around the globe to conduct audits across the Group.
About the department The position in GIA is based in HQ in Bagsvaerd, Denmark, and from here we perform audits of the Danish headquarter functions as well as travel to the global affiliates. GIA consists of 40 dedicated colleagues, of which 4 are within the financial audit team, representing 14 different nationalities and is responsible for providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee within finance, business ethics, ESG and IT.
