The Position
As Corporate Counsel, you will work independently on exciting legal issues with high business impact. Your key responsibilities: trusted legal advisor to key business stakeholders securing compliance with internal and external rules in relation to product communications, including promotional material and scientific activities providing impactful legal advice in cross functional teams and on key strategic projects including new global product launches and label updates driving training of global legal and business stakeholders, including developing proactive guidelines and tools to help navigate complex legal and compliance matters developing innovative legal solutions to new and challenging issues in a changing environment, as well as driving ad-hoc strategic projects You will be engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders both within Global Legal and across the organisation as well as external counsels and third parties. You will have independent responsibility for key tasks but also work together with the lawyers in the team and abroad. The workplaces will be in Bagsværd and Søborg, Denmark. As part of the Global Legal organisation, you would also be involved with cross-functional Global Legal projects. Additionally, various opportunities within in Denmark and abroad offer potential for further personal development. Qualifications Law degree 3+ years’ experience from a major law firm or in-house legal department Pharma industry experience preferred (e.g. advisory experience regarding the promotion of pharmaceutical products) Project management skills, incl. ability to drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a structured manner, and to take a strategic approach to risk management and prioritisation Strong and effective written and verbal English communication and stakeholder management skills, which enable you to clearly convey complex issues and navigate among stakeholders from different cultures and business functions On a personal level, you are curious and have a “can-do”, solution-oriented, and positive attitude, which enables you to establish strong professional relationships internally and externally. Attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines. About the department
You will be a key part of the high performing, dynamic and international Pharma Law Commercial legal team consisting of 6 lawyers and 1 project manager in Denmark and 5 lawyers in Bangalore that are legal business partners to Marketing, Commercial, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication. The team is part of the Pharma Law team in Global Legal & Patents, located in ’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. ’s global legal organisation consists of more than 300 legal colleagues situated at +40 locations around the world.
