. In , we are driving change to defeat serious chronic diseases. A step in that direction is to acquire companies which can help our patients. This role is new and will focus on the companies which support our manufacturing processes. As we acquire companies that have expertise and capabilities in this area, we need to understand their standards and practices and align, where relevant, with ours. This requires a strong understanding of both the business and technical aspects of operational technology (OT) and the ability to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation. If you are nodding at this point, then read on! Act as an extension of the united Global Information Security area In , we have an increased strategic focus on acquisition and partnering. Global Information Security is already an integrated part of this process and participate in due diligence and integration activities. Now, we have created a small team where the primary focus is to make sure the Novo Nordisk security posture is implemented in a sufficient way in the companies we acquire or partner with. This role will have a special focus on companies supporting our manufacturing processes. The role will develop over time, and you will be able to highly influence that, but the initial responsibilities include: Own and lead all activities related to governance of information security in owned companies within your responsibility Act as a trusted advisor for the company on their information security posture Where relevant, ensure that policies, processes and technical protection is implemented, following a risk based approach Follow and contribute to the operating model for handling information security across owned companies and partners Keep up to date with legal requirements to the security posture of the specific company, supplementing requirements, and ensure implementation Act as an extension of the Global Information Security department in the acquired company Does your personality match ours? You will be working with many different people, ranging from your information security colleagues and technical experts, to senior management, business colleagues and people who are far from your daily life. You will therefore be navigating different situations and personalities. You will succeed if you are diplomatic and enjoy that you working day is unpredictable. Many of your tasks require you to be active and take the initiative to find a good pragmatic solution on your own. Therefore, it must be natural for you to reach out to your colleagues for guidance and alignment. Your stakeholders will expect you to be calm and approachable and always deliver what you have promised. Candidate profile The perfect colleague could come from various backgrounds and the following are examples of the qualifications that we would prioritise: A Master’s degree in IT, information security, or another field which is relevant for the job Relevant security certifications or equivalent experience 10 years of experience with information security, preferably related to OT and manufacturing processes Ability to navigate comfortably both in the Governance, Risk & Compliance space and the technical space Experience with making yourself understood by people with a different background than yours, both in writing and through presentations and personal interaction It is a requirement that you can pass a security background check.
