The Position As we expand our operations and redesign our future supply chain for a wide range of products across multiple therapy areas, we're seeking a motivated Senior Supply Chain Design Partner to join our Strategic Supply Chain & Design department. This role entails managing a portfolio of products within a Therapy Area (Diabetes, Obesity, Rare Disease or Other Serious Chronic Diseases) and driving their supply chain strategy towards launch and post-launch. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the overall supply chain strategy, and bridge design activities across development projects, utilizing both project management skills and business understanding within supply chain expertise. Main responsibilities will include: Supply Chain anchor point into product development teams that ensures supply chains for new products are readied towards launch. Responsible for the continuous development of supply chain design of marketed products within your designated portfolio. Driving SC risk and robustness assessments identifying gaps in the physical flow and providing solutions and mitigations. Proactively aligning product supply chain design with stakeholders - development functions, Commercial, Business Support functions etc. Support the Therapy Area Lead to align product supply chain strategy to the overall therapy area portfolio strategy. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar with a focus on Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in different roles across the supply chain. Manufacturing or commercial supply chain experience is a pre-requisite to be able to comprehend and relate to the entire chain. Other qualifications include: Solid business understanding linked to manufacturing environment and other parts of supply chain. Ability to understand and explain complex issues and solutions. Strong collaborator and eager to work cross-functionally. Good communication skills. High ability to work independently, setting goals defining deliveries. To excel in this role, it is essential that you possess a strong desire to acquire new knowledge and apply your expertise in collaboration with diverse teams. You must interact with stakeholders in a respectful and thoughtful manner to ensure that accurate information, guidance, and decisions are communicated effectively. Moreover, maintaining a high level of integrity in your work and demonstrating proactive support for the organization in the face of challenges. About the Department The Strategic Supply Chain & Design department is dedicated to creating long-term end-to-end supply chain strategies across products and platforms that serve as guiding principles for global network decisions. Our objective is to ensure that our product supply chains are future-proof and aligned with therapeutic areas strategies and continuously optimized as the product grows and matures. The SSCD mission is dedicated to strengthening collaboration throughout the entire value chain, spanning from CMC Development & Scaling to Manufacturing and Commercial.
