The job Do you want to be a part of the expansion of Aseptic Processing (AP) facilities in a large global pharmaceutical company? Are you motivated by developing and implementing new processes and challenging the status quo? Then you might be the Project Professional that we are looking for, to develop and support implementation of the microbial monitoring solutions needed to expand our AP facilities across the world . The position As Project Professional you will be a key player in defining microbial monitoring solutions, together with your project group colleagues, our subject matter experts, and management. You will be part of a project group, whose objective is to replace a substantial number of human operations with automated solutions, such as sampling and cleaning of our aseptic production facilities. Our group also works closely with other groups in the department focusing on the additional AP processes, such as filling, formulation, wash & sterilization, etc. Furthermore, we collaborate with project groups situated across the globe, in the facilities that are being expanded. Your key tasks in this job will be:
  • Designing future processes and flow relating to microbial monitoring, according to aseptic standards and authority requirements
  • Preparing documentation and executing tests and validation activities
  • Taking part in vendor oversight during the equipment building and test phase
  • Designing and implementing training setups for users of innovative technology
  • Coordinating project tasks
  • Participating in authority inspection and other relevant compliance activities.
    • Qualifications In the role as Project Professional, we expect you to have:
  • A degree in pharmacy, natural science, or engineering
  • Experience from the pharma industry or other regulated industry, where GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or similar requirements exist. Experience from project work and microbial monitoring is also desirable
  • Quality mindset and a drive to create the “right” solutions
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English (Command of Danish, French or Chinese in addition is a plus)

The department Technology Standards is a department in the newly created SVP (Senior Vice President) area of AP Expansions which is anchored within Product Supply, which globally accounts for +19,000 of Novo Nordisk’s +55,000 employees. The responsibility of AP Expansion is to plan and execute the establishment of new aseptic filling capacity across the global manufacturing network within Biotech and Rare Diseases (BRD) and Injectable Finished Products (IFP) for new filling platforms while ensuring harmonization and global standards . Across the separate roles there is a distinct global aspect as the end goal is a global standard and best practice, and working with multiple sites, cultures and traditions will be a key element.
