The Position Your role will be anchored in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD), in the Business Support department. Within the department, a small team drives the development of Lean competencies and culture across DMD. We are looking for a partner for our CVP and management team, who will assess our maturity, define our strategy, and drive the implementation of our lean initiatives including on the shop floor. Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Identify focus areas for improvements in DMD, as well as drive and support execution in all levels of the organization, from CVP and leaders to professionals and operators
  • Develop and implement Lean leadership training for all leaders within DMD
  • Coach and develop Lean professionals and managers in driving Lean leadership behaviors and using Lean systems and tools.
  • Engage in our cross-CVP Lean network to build best practices
  • Drive and support the performance management processes in DMD and ensure alignment with DMD strategic initiatives.

Qualifications For this role, we are looking forward to connecting with candidates who have:
  • an academic degree in relevant subject matters (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management, or project management)
  • certifications within Lean (Eg. Black belt/DMAIC/2-star certified)
  • experience designing and executing Lean transformations
  • proven experience in coaching Lean principles, systems, and tools for leaders and employees at all levels of an organization
  • strong stakeholder management and change management skills
  • As a person, you will settle more easily into the role if you are passionate about your field and a natural go-getter. Your ability to build trust and relations with leaders and employees, as well as your change management and interpersonal skills will come in handy. You can navigate between strategic and operational levels, adapting to your stakeholder. Working independently is something you are comfortable with, but you also function well in a core team. Being able to communicate fluently in English, at a business level, is of utmost importance. Our organization is very international with over 35 nationalities represented. About the department Business Support is a department within Device Manufacturing Development, consisting of 20 highly skilled professionals striving to support and meet complex organizational needs. We drive cross-functional agendas within Strategy deployment, Finance, Lean, Innovation, Training, EHS, and Project & Portfolio Management.
