The position
Your team consist of highly skilled engineers that support our global production network (Denmark/Europe/US/Asia), handles improvements, upgrades and expansion of production capacity with a global production perspective. As an Associate Manager, you will work closely with your people to keep a high level of professional passion and engagement to drive performance by maintaining the team spirit. Your team will ensure support to our in house production, as well as our lines operated in the global network. A constant focus on improving the technical performance requires frequent interaction with all relevant stake holders, such as local/global production sites, Swiss equipment supplier, Quality experts etc. You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation by being a highly visible manager who provides sparring and coaching to your employees. A high amount of focus will be placed on Lean methodologies such as systematic problem solving and standardisation, so you will need to be able to coach in these areas. As part of the experienced management group in FlexTouch Pre-assembly, you will be responsible for aligning common goals and strategies, and then implementing them in your area. Your employees will be very knowledgeable within their areas of expertise, and it is expected that you will coach and develop them further. To succeed in this position, you:
· Have at least 2 years of management experience
· Hold a degree within Engineering, science or similar.
· Experience from the pharmaceutical industry together with GxP and production knowledge.
· Have a flair for people skills.
· Have flair for administrative tasks and can look ahead to ensure stability in planning.
· Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English. Your quality mind-set and business sense are well developed, you have a systematic approach to problems, and you are a team player who achieves specified goals.
You know how to listen, show respect, and evaluate problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with bold targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions. About the Department
You will join FlexTouch Pre-assembly in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 200 colleagues, working in 10 teams, and we produce the mechanical Motor Module in Novo
Nordisk’s newest prefilled devices FlexTouch® and FlexPro®. We deliver large quantities to our sister factories in “Injectable Finished Products” and “Biotech and Rare Diseases”.
