The position As Quality Engineer, you will facilitate systematic problem solving and handle the deviations and customer complaints from when they are received in our department – Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) - until the cases are concluded by Quality Assurance (QA) in collaboration with dedicated colleagues across a truly global organization. Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Working in close dialogue with a broad variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, such as suppliers, QA, Process Experts, Device Manufacturing Development (DMS) and R&D to handle device issues
  • Finding and getting the right people involved to reach the best solutions
  • Helping other departments to improve their processes.
    • The main purpose is to safeguard patient safety and improve product quality by ensuring a high-quality root cause investigation and the right corrective actions. Your job area will be within medical devices and covers several different technologies more specifically within advanced injection moulding, metal components, electronics and assembly. Our suppliers are located in Europe, China, USA and Brazil. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • An academic degree in mechanics, manufacturing or any other relevant field
  • A previous experience with systematic problem solving, root cause analysis and deviation obtained within quality assurance, moulding or assembly
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
    • It would be considered as a plus if you have knowledge of device manufacturing, GMP, validation, Lean and programming. As a person, you possess excellent communication skills and are good at establishing relations with other people. You bring a positive mindset, are straightforward, and have a systematic approach to problem-solving. You are proactive and have a great interest in developing yourself and the team you are a part of. Last but not least, you are curious and seek to understand the underlying complexities and gain energy by going on the shopfloor and interact with your stakeholders or your team. About the Department Quality Support is located in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen. Here 15 Quality Engineers handle customer complaints and deviations for all Novo Nordisk prefilled and durable devices. We review and challenge root cause investigation and drive a continuous development of this competence in-house and at our outsourcing partners.
