The Position As our new Associate Manager in DMD (Device Manufacturing Development) Packaging you will be responsible for a diverse team of specialized professionals developing and delivering process and equipment standards and being a central engineering work force in implementation of global capacity expansion projects. The key tasks will be to:
  • Deliver present leadership for your team in a dynamic changing environment.
  • Secure robustness in your team deliverables and ensure right prioritizing of the resources.
  • Inspire and support individual development of your team members.
  • Actively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • You will also participate as a team player in the management group of DMD Packaging, improving management and inspiring for great leadership. In this role, you can look forward to work that has a high impact on the end products reaching the patient. The job will also give you plenty of opportunities to influence the continuous improvement of the product quality, process stability and efficiency at an international level. Finally, you can expect to be involved in a broad range of cooperation with our production sites and suppliers globally. Qualifications For this position, the ideal candidate should:
  • Hold a master’s degree within Engineering, Natural Sciences or similar.
  • Have previous people leadership experience.
  • Have experience with GMP production from pharmaceutical settings.
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
    • While it is an advantage if you have experience with Finished Products production, we do not consider it a prerequisite for succeeding in this position. You should have a natural passion for leading and inspiring the team to expand global packaging capacity and meet increasing customer demands. As a leader you have a holistic perspective and the ability to balance priorities and dilemmas in a strategic setting. You are comfortable being challenged by more senior stakeholders in decisions and your high level of personal integrity and robustness enables you to integrate different views in the decision-making process. You are well organized and create strong results by engaging your employees. On a personal level, a can-do mind-set and focus on opportunities rather than limitations will help you provide the right balance between leadership and management to your team. Communicative and interpersonal skills are essential on your road to success. About the Department You will join Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) and the Packaging department supporting packaging of Novo Nordisk finished products, primarily pen injectors and tablets. We are bridging product development to production and driving development and standardization of new, smarter packaging processes. Furthermore, we are, together with our colleagues in the packaging project management office, responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with the Novo Nordisk global production sites. We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to running production. We are situated in site Hillerød in a fast-growing organization and counting approximately 40 employees, juniors to seniors of many different nationalities.
