The position As Senior DFM Engineer, your main focus will be to mature plastic component designs based on your experience with high-volume Medical Injection Moulding. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization as well as with external suppliers (mould-makers, product design, and production colleagues) to develop technical solutions that meet requirements and adhere to both industry standards and design principles
  • Utilizing data and simulation to communicate ideas and explore new technologies and solutions
  • Ordering and following the moulding equipment into production, ensuring extensive testing and qualification
  • Adhering to Current Good Practice (cGxP) requirements and qualifying moulding tools to maintain patient safety while upholding quality standards
  • Embracing change as an opportunity and working proactively in project teams with different governance

Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • At least a bachelor degree coupled with a previous experience within DFM for injection moulding
  • Familiarity with the medical devices, pharmaceutical industry or any other regulated environment
  • Expertise in simulation modeling and with computer aided design (CAD) software (Creo, Catia or Solidworks)
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management abilities
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

About the department You will be joining 60+ dedicated technical experts and projects managers in the Components Department in Device Manufacturing Development - Hillerød.
