Are you energised by interacting with many different stakeholders from various parts of the world? Then you might be our new Project Engineer at our Novo Nordisk production site in Hjørring called Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing. The position As a CMO Project Engineer, you will play a key role in both projects at our site in Hjørring but also projects at our Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) different places around the world. Both at our CMOs and in Hjørring, we have a varying number of ongoing projects, e.g., projects within packaging lines, assembly lines or facility expansions. You engage in the projects’ scope and technology selection and ensure implementation of engineering and safety standards. Your primary tasks will be: Defining the final product by collecting and documenting requirements Facilitating activities to transform requirements into work packages through workshops together with technical experts and process responsibles Taking a central role in supplier selection, system design, FAT/SAT-activities, installation, qualification and verification of equipment Documentation throughout the process. You get the opportunity to work with the latest technology, vision systems, robotics together with experts, project managers and suppliers around the world. Our CMOs are located around the world, and you will as a CMO Project Engineer travel to our partners to guide, assist and be the go-to person for questions. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you have: A degree in a technical field, e.g. mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or marine engineering Experience as a traveling engineer Experience within manufacturing equipment development 2-3 years of experience Proficiency in English Ability to travel with relatively short notice Preferably knowledge of automation and robots but it is not a prerequisite. As you sometimes will travel to our CMOs on your own, it is paramount that you take ownership for the issues that our CMOs are facing and have the persistence to follow through with the solution together with them. About the department You will be part of the Needle Manufacturing Development team and have 14 dedicated colleagues. The CMO Project Engineer is a new role in the team, but you will have plenty of Project Engineering colleagues that can guide you along. Our main responsibilities as a team are: Establishing manufacturing equipment for new products Being a key partner to R&D within manufacturing development for new products Planning and execution of projects on our site in Hjørring We value professionalism, a high sense of responsibility and an open and informal dialogue. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in seven departments and with app. 450 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
