Join our team in Hillerød for one of Novo Nordisk's most significant expansion projects. We're expanding our Biotech production capacity for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, resulting in a highly automated facility with state-of-the-art technology. This will allow us to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases, including rare diseases. We need your help as Senior Engineering Responsible in Piping to drive the project and reach the initial phase of production. Are you ready to join us and embark on this exciting journey together? The position As Engineering Responsible in Piping, your responsibilities will include: Leading and driving piping design with an external Engineering Partner, including commissioning/test strategy and execution. Developing and maintaining piping specifications and standards in accordance with industry codes and regulations. Providing site supervision during piping fabrication, installation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Ensuring quality of piping system installation by conducting inspections and testing. You will also be involved in reviewing piping designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing piping system stress analysis, reviewing, and approving piping designs and vendor data, and participating in commissioning and start-up activities. Overall, as a senior piping engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of piping systems for construction projects. Qualifications The Senior Piping Engineering Responsible position requires: An academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of piping systems, including layout, material selection, and stress analysis. Familiarity with industry codes and regulations, including ASME BPE 2022, ASTM A-312, EN 10220, etc. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
