Are you energized by interacting with many different stakeholders from various parts of the world? Do you want to play a key role in project planning and execution? Then you might be our new Project Planner for our production site in Hjørring called Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing. The position
As Project Planner, you will continuously participate in a varying number of ongoing projects, in which you are responsible for establishing and maintaining a project plan. Our plans are updated frequently as they are one of our most important tools for ensuring control over our deliveries. Your primary tasks will be to:
• Develop and facilitate the Product and Work Breakdown Structure (PBS & WBS). Define activities, milestones and estimate activity durations in close collaboration with your key stakeholders
• Build and maintain project plans in MS Project in close collaboration with the project team, project manager and technical experts
• Participate in project-related workshops, where in some cases you will be the primary driver and facilitator
• Break down the plan into a sprint backlog and ensure consistent description of tasks for all team members
• Prepare sprint backlogs and facilitate sprint-meetings in projects
• Continuously develop our tools within PowerBI and Azure DevOps
• Follow up on tasks and progression during sprints and make sure progression or delay is reflected in the plan
Together with your colleagues in the planner team, you will be involved in the development of our project planning and execution strategy. Your main stakeholders will range from project management, production teams, technical experts to steering groups.
Qualifications
• You have a higher education within a technical field, such as engineering, it, production technology or automation technology.
• You have experience from a similar job as a project planner and knowledge of MS Project
• If you have experience with facilitating sprint-meetings, PowerBI or Azure DevOps, you will have a head start.
In your daily life, you work in a structured way and have a sharp eye for details. You enjoy being part of projects, which by nature often change priorities. The dilemma in following a stringent process in a changing environment with many stakeholders is a challenge you will face. You feel comfortable working as part of a team but also to work on your own.
About the department
You will be part of the Project Engineering & Planning team and have 14 dedicated colleagues. Our main responsibilities are:
• Establishing production equipment for new products
• Being a key partner to R&D within manufacturing development of new products
• Planning and execution of projects at our site in Hjørring
• Product Maintenance on the needle portfolio.
