The IT department in Actona Group provides solutions and development to systems throughout Actona Group and as our new IT Specialist, you will focus on digitalisation and integrations.
The position
As a part of our 2025 Strategy, Actona Group is focusing even more on digitalisation, especially on our sales platforms, which are being used by our customers in more than 90 countries around the world. As our new EDI Specialist, you will engage with various stakeholders both internally and externally, connecting customers, our business, and the development of customised integration solutions.
One of your primary tasks will be to successfully integrate the solutions we develop by engaging in thorough and detailed communication with our customers and their IT departments. As EDI and Integrations Specialist, you will provide technical advice, understand customer requirements, and assess their needs to help create the best possible solutions.
From the initial dialogue with your IT colleagues, you will manage integration projects and act as the main point of contact for the customers defining the tasks. You will be a vital part of ensuring progress and high quality throughout the projects.

Your responsibilities will also include:
- EDI Platform Management
- Creating an overview of innovative solutions and processes, documenting them accordingly.
- Conducting end-to-end testing both internally and externally.
- Validation of dataflow during testing and beginning of production.
- Performing tests on new functionality and user interface experiences (UIX).
- Coordination of EDI-integration projects with stakeholders.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service in the solutions.
- Supporting both our customers and our internal sales support teams.

We imagine that this will describe you as well:
- Relevant education in IT.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Solid knowledge of EDI, including EDI tools and formats such as MS-BizTalk, VANS and OIOXML, EDIFACT, XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of API calls.
- You are flexible, pay attention to detail and have a solution-oriented mindset.
- Able to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
- You work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- You are structured and have the analytical skills needed to solve EDI-related issues.
- Hands-on experience and strong understanding of EDI-integrations projects.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Danish.
