Juelsminde

Do you have a business-oriented approach and excellent financial skills and are you good at communicating and translating complex data? If yes, you should apply for this challenging position as Financial Business Partner at Palsgaard.

In this role, you will mainly be supporting our global sales organisation with various analysis and clear guidance in how to interpret data to ensure growth and profitability. We work with complex COGS calculations using forward pricing and hedging, and you will be the expert and advisor for the sales management.

You will be part of a highly qualified finance team consisting of 6 committed colleagues whom you will be working closely with daily.

The position is placed at our headquarter in Juelsminde (DK) with flexible working hours, and you will report directly to our CFO, Palle Hansen.

The finance department is expecting to grow even further over the next couple of years, and as we work on a global scale, the position requires a limited number of travel days a year.

Your responsibilities will amongst others include:

  • Being a member of the sales management group and be and integrated part of the decision process.
  • Together with management, responsible for achieving profitability, cash flow and key financial KPIs in line with budget
  • Detailed analysis of cost of goods sold in close corporation with your colleagues, including forward prices and hedging of our sales.
  • Ensure transparency on relevant performance metrics throughout the sales organisation.
  • Support the sales organisation with various financial analysis amongst others analysis of earnings per product/product group, customers, and markets
  • Ensure that sales controlling, and related processes are efficient and up to date
  • Reviewing data to identify patterns, discrepancies, or potential improvements
  • Support foreign subsidiaries in sales/cost analysis
  • Supporting the sales organization in the budget process
  • Ad hoc analysis and calculations etc. for different parts of the business

It is important that you have a business partnering approach to the job to help your colleagues in optimizing the business. Business partnering will be at several levels, and you can expect your role to develop over time.


What do you need to apply?


You hold a master’s degree in Economics, HD in business economics or the like. You have some years of experience from a similar role - preferably from an international production/manufacturing company - and you are eager to learn more within the area.

You are good at communicating at multiple levels and has the ability to translate complex data in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, you have a thorough and analytical way of working and are good at building transparent and trustworthy relationships. You can prioritize your work and effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time.

You have a broad knowledge of the newest common IT-systems. Currently, we are working on a new BI-tool (PowerBI) as well as implementation of a new ERP-system, where you will play a central role in relation to the interfaces between sales and finance.

As we work in an international environment, good communication skills in Danish and English are required.
