The position In this role, you can look forward to being responsible for the design, procurement, installation and validation of parts of a large-scale bio-pharma production facility. The area of responsibility can be tailored. You will participate in all project activities from detailed design, procurement, execution, operational start-up and validation. In addition, after the project is finished, the role can be converted into an operational role, in which you will take over a significant position in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing organisation. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class design standards from other facilities. The main responsibilities include: design review procurement and implementation monitoring preparation of test and documentation validation of CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) assuring operational readiness You will take an active part in a competent user organisation and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. In this role, it will be crucial to manage project risks proactively, develop standards to ensure structure and transparency. Qualifications We are looking for experienced professionals in the field of raw material handling, buffer preparation and cleaning in place (CIP). To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have: Several years of project-based experience within Good Manufacturing Practice and ideally Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing. It would be beneficial if you have experience with investment projects in a GMP environment Minimum a bachelor’s level education in chemistry, pharmaceutical process engineering, or similar. Knowledge about chemical process technology or biotechnology within large-scale production. Full professional English proficiency (verbal and written). It would be advantageous if you have knowledge and experience related to CIP and downstream processing.
