Then you might be our new Energy Professional in PS API IM1 (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, Insulin Manufacturing 1) at the site Kalundborg, Denmark. The Position As Energy Professional you will be our expert within energy consuming process, data analysing, reporting, screenings of production activities and units with potential energy savings. Your days will be highly varied between days of administrative work, days around pipes, valves, centrifuges, pumps, and distillation columns.
Your main responsibility will be, with a close collaboration with CVP Partner:
• Ensure compliance with requirements defined by Energy Management system (ISO50001) and internal requirements
• Collaborate, guide, and support colleagues and external consultants regarding Energy aspects
• Predictive modelling to predict future events or outcomes by analysing patterns in a given set of input data
• Collect, analyse, and report data from various sources in relation with energy
• Strive for continuous improvement in Novo Nordisk Environmental strategy "Circular for Zero"
You will be part of a network of skilled colleagues all working with environment and energy management across Novo Nordisk's manufacturing organization, which is spread across multiple geographical locations. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
• Minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree within Chemical Engineer, Marine engineer or other relevant education
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with energy related work, ideally from pharmaceutical production
• Have a thirst for large machinery and equipment like distillations columns
• Experience with legislative requirements, ISO 50001 standard
• Ability to negotiate the right solutions while balancing the response with business needs
• Represent a mix of technical skills with hands on & theoretical knowledge about how to perform predictive modelling.
• Know-how and competencies which supports sustainability (Cicular4zero) and being able to ensure that these ambitions are achieved through informal management. • It is also important to have good collaboration skills and stakeholder management
• Be fluent in both Danish and English
On a personal level, you are enthusiastic, have a strong personal drive, and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors. You are an analytical person who can set direction and motivate your colleagues. Since you will collaborate with various professions and across Novo Nordisk incl. the central environmental department, you need to have good stakeholder management skills.
