Then you might be our new Senior process scientist or engineer within water systems for one of our support teams in Insulin Manufacturing I (IM1) in Kalundborg.
The position Our department “Utility & Solvents” provides support to Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient's production departments within the areas: Process optimisation, troubleshooting and daily operations. As we support the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) production, your daily job will overall be to: Contribute to the stable operations and quality in the production of insulin and GLP-1 analogues Support projects across the IM1 factory and within the Utility & Solvents department Teach new employees across the factory Represent the process group for clean utilities
Qualifications To perform well in this job, we imagine that you have: +5 years of experience with water filtration processes or systems in production facilities such as: Process water, WFI, Clean utility, process nitrogen, clean steam. Academic background in the natural sciences but most importantly, you have worked with regulated production and have a deep understanding of legislative and quality demands. Experience within the areas of GMP, Projects, Qualification/Validation and LEAN Experience in qualification/validation and SRV concept Excellent communicative skills to explain complex problems to colleagues with backgrounds very different from your own Self-organised and able to prioritize work assignments, comfortable working in a changing work environment, with opportunities for personal and professional development. Proficiency in both Danish and English, as we work in an international business environment. As a person, we are looking for a candidate who is data-oriented with a methodical and structured approach. You should be able to accommodate a large array of stakeholder needs while holding your ground on what you know to be right, and never compromise on quality or safety. You should be able to take on responsibility and convey your knowledge and experience with a steady hand. In addition, you should be able to build trustful relationships across a large organization and competently enjoy being the expert your colleagues can count on for advice and sparring. IM1 is the world’s largest insulin API facility and is one of the largest production sites in Novo Nordisk. Our department Utility & Solvents consist of 75 employees who handle supplies of raw materials and solvents for the production. The department is organised in several teams including a support team which main responsibility is the various process and utility plants that supply the 4 production lines of the factory.
