The position As the Program Director in API IT and Future Operations, your responsibilities will involve leading a digital transformation program to enable remote operations between production sites. You will develop and implement strategies to digitalize, automate, and optimize production processes across our API sites in Denmark and the USA. You will: Collaborate with internal colleagues, external vendors, and academia to foster innovation and stay at the forefront of industry advancements. Take ownership of program direction, ensuring successful execution and delivery of objectives. Lead and motivate project team members, driving engagement and commitment to achieve desired outcomes. Be part of driving the translation of strategic ambitions towards remote operation into operational solutions and plans, working closely with colleagues on the production sites. This is a newly established position, which offers the responsibility of building and developing the program to fit the ongoing and dynamic productions in operation and the needs of the future! Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have: Experience with complex program management Experience in pharma production processes and/or in implementing automation, robots and digital solutions in production environments Experience working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels in addition to excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills Fluency in English and ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner An innovative mindset and the expert ability to work at both a tactical & strategic level

About the department The position as Program Director in API IT and Future Operations is placed in the Business Support area at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply. The department that you will join currently consist of approx. 45 highly engaged and highly motivated colleagues with competencies covering both IT, automation and the forefront of technology and production. The API Business Support area consists of about 150 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API.
