Are you interested in understanding all aspects of pharmaceutical processes? Then you could be our new senior process engineer for API manufacturing in Novo Nordisk. The Position As Process Supporter you will be responsible for our production processes and more importantly to help prepare for a future with even more batches every week. The main tasks will be: Use a Go-Look-See as well as data-based approach for handling process deviations.
Analyse process and equipment data for monitoring as well as development purposes.
Collaborate with your team mates on solving various tasks upcoming from the daily operation as well as requests from other departments.
Communicate with other stakeholders on the shopfloor (process operators, maintenance, QA etc.) in connection to various activities.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A Bachelor or master’s degree in chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering or similar.
GMP experience.
Flair for understanding the equipment.
Ability to analyze data and independently extract information.
Proficiency in English and willingness to learn Danish.
You understand how to convey complex information to varying audiences and thereby, explain the purpose to get everyone onboard and have an appetite for solving complex problems applying a systems approach to manage complexity and reach feasible applicable solutions. About the Department As part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organization, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients is responsible for manufacturing all Insulin and GLP-based products. You will be assigned to Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1), the world’s largest Insulin API manufacturing facility located in Kalundborg. You will be employed in Purification, where a team of skilled international colleagues are working together to ensure that API is purified, freeze-dried and released. The department of Purification lies at the interface between Upstream manufacturing, where the initial API is generated and Product formulation where the API is formulated into the final product for the patient. Purification plays an important role in API manufacturing because it is responsible for generating the final API, purifying it to a high quality and ensuring that product is supplied to the next stage in the supply chain for access to the patient.
