The positionAs the P&O Senior Manager your key responsibilities will revolve around supporting the management team in build a new organisation and driving various P&O development activities aligned with the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Expansion strategy. You will be the Trusted Advisor to the CAPEX SVP and the SVP management group. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in leading the API P&O Business Partner team and structuring a new department within the organization. You will play a vital role in driving organizational growth, shaping the culture of this area, and ensuring the successful implementation of P&O initiatives.Your responsibilities will include:• Guiding, coaching and empowering a team of HR Business Partners, providing direction, mentorship, and support.• Designing and shaping the people agenda, ensuring it aligns with the organization's overall strategy and goals. Leading strategic and operational discussions within management teams on vital topics such as leadership development, organisational development, performance culture, and sustainable wellbeing.• Driving and overseeing essential P&O processes. Ensuring these processes are effectively implemented across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance.• Fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture that aligns with the company's values and goals; developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.• Strategic workforce planning and setting the direction within Organizational Development; taking a leadership role in structuring a new department within the organization, leveraging your expertise to create an efficient and effective HR structure that supports the API Expansion Projects and meets the evolving needs of the business.The position offers great career development potential and will evolve over time. Currently, all activities are in Denmark. The position is placed in Kalundborg, Denmark, with the flexibility to work from home or from another office 1-2 days a week.Qualifications
We imagine that a successful candidate should have:• Proven track record as an HR Business Partner, aligning P&O initiatives with business goals and providing valuable guidance to senior stakeholders.
• Leadership skills, capability to effectively manage teams, foster collaboration, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Expertise in designing organisational structures, and managing business change and transformations (e.g. M&A, organic growth, divestitures, etc.)
• Ability to think strategically, align HR strategies with business objectives, and drive organizational change.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)Furthermore, to succeed in the job, you would need to have excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders and drive consensus. You have passion for learning, staying updated on P&O trends, and adapting to evolving business environments.On a personal level, you have a strong business and strategic mindset, and you are confident with navigating a complex and dynamic organisation. You have high personal integrity, and you can manage both interpersonal relations and deliver results. You can motivate and empower others to deliver high-quality results.About the departmentOur People & Organisation Business Partnering team consist of 8 HRBP, a Project Lead, a project coordinator, a Training Academy team and several students, supporting all HR processes in API. Together, we are responsible for developing our organisation and employees to meet current and future needs.Your will support API Capacity Projects, which is a new SVP area, which will be dealing with high complexity projects execution of vital importance for Novo Nordisk to meet future demands and delivery to patients.Kalundborg Site is the cornerstone in our production of API and the expansion of the manufacturing capacity is important in meeting the future demands of patients. Kalundborg site covers an area of 1,600,000 m2 and employs about 4000 people and the US based API site employs 600+ people.Working at Novo Nordisk
