The positionAs an Automation Engineer, you will: secure the implementation, operation, and optimization of automation systems such as DCS, PLC and MES. In PPV (Purification Plan V) we are implementing the DCS system 800xA from ABB, the latest PLC technology from Siemens and being the front runners for the new MES system at Novo, so called PAS-X. review documentation and be part of testing the solutions while leveraging the knowledge needed to later have higher responsibilities over these systems. work closely with our production area, our external partners, and with the different teams across our entire organization. help ensure that the selected system that you are focused at is integrated with other systems, instruments, process and fully in compliance to GMP requirements. When we move into operations our team will own the Automation & IT systems, being responsible for its designed operations conditions, and ensuring its continuous improvement. PPV is a major project for enabling Novo Nordisk supply needed insulin and other vital medicines to our patients, which means a long-term investment on our people as well as in the facility. You will be located in Kalundborg however, as some of our collaboration partners work around Copenhagen, it is expected that you will also work in those locations on spot basis. QualificationsWe are looking for an ambitious and proactive team player to be our new colleague, a person who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences: You hold a M.Sc., B.Sc., or technician degree within Engineering, IT or have other relevant experience from recent job(s) You are newly graduate or have a few years of professional experience within Automation (within DCS, PLC or MES is a big plus) Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and GMP requirements, experience within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) preferred. English fluency is a must, as we are an international team. Danish is the preferred language particularly when working close production, therefore a huge plus. As a person, you are energized by taking responsibility for and acting to achieve high quality results. You are structured in your way of working, open to incorporate new ideas and actively share information with your colleagues.
