Role
As a Student Assistant Business Intelligence Analyst your focus is to ensure that the team delivers high quality and high value software products for our business. You will help guide the technical direction of the team, take part in design discussions, do hands-on software development, and actively engage with stakeholders from both business and technology to align expectations and remove roadblocks.
Day to day could look like
- Turning data into actionable insights using tools and models from statistics, AI and Machine Learning to enable better decision making
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate a business problem to a mathematical problem that can be solved using data and analytics
- Gathering, analysing and combining the data sources required to solve the problem, then develop the appropriate solution and communicate its possibilities and limitations
Who We’re Looking For
- Passionate about a career in Technology
- Studying a technology centric or related degree with a minimum of 12 months remaining on your degree
- Available to start on 1 May 2023
- Experience of business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or similar BI tool
- Ability to present information in a manner that is understandable and useable by all stakeholders
- Sense of ownership focuses on quality, efficiency, and innovation
- Understanding the different aspects of the end-to-end model life cycle (problem formulation, exploration, development, testing, deployment and monitoring)
- Good data science skillset and the experience needed to drive the implementation of a solution at any stage of the product life cycle
