The Principal Strategy & Portolio Partner will work directly with the Senior Vice President for Transportation Platforms | Technology Operations and Technology M&A to help shape and setup the strategy, vision and execution engine for the technology platforms in scope. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry and the technology landscape, and will use this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency in our technology function.
Responsible for the strategic identification, planning and coordination of a set of related programmes or very large projects delivering complex business outcomes, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies and objectives. The maintenance of a strategic view over a set of programmes or very large projects, providing the framework for implementing complex business initiatives, or large-scale change, by conceiving, maintaining and communicating a vision of the outcome of the programme and associated benefits.Determination, monitoring, and review of cross-programme scope, costs, and schedule, programme resources, inter-dependencies and programme risk. The Principal Strategy & Portfolio Partner will work directly with the Senior Vice President for Transportation Platforms | Technology Operations and Technology M&A, to help shape and set up the strategy, vision, and execution engine for the technology platforms in scope. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry and the technology landscape and will use this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency in our technology function.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the SVP to develop and implement the technology strategy for our transportation platforms, technology operations and technology M&A
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends and new technologies that could be leveraged to improve our technology function and drive innovation.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders to drive alignment on the technology strategy and ensure successful implementation.
- Analyse business and technology trends to identify potential opportunities and risks for our technology function, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Work with the SVP to develop and manage the technology budget and ensure investments are aligned with the overall strategy.
- Own and drive cross-functional initiatives from design to completion
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between the technology function and other business units to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.
- Support the collaboration with the product organization and continuous alignment of the product/platform roadmaps
What you bring
- Prior experience in a top-tier management consulting firm is required. Excellent mastery of the consulting toolkit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and the technology landscape in the logistics industry.
- Proven experience developing and implementing technology strategies that drive innovation and efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
