Field Application Specialist, based in Europe. Are you a biology enthusiast with a flair for technical excellence? The Department You will be part of our Sales & Marketing department, that consists of the Sales Team, Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing, Customer Support and Commercial Excellence.
We are embarking on an exciting growth journey, delivering unique products in a global environment & with +300 Customers worldwide. The product portfolio is a mix of existing and upcoming products, and we work in a B2B environment, where many of our customers are large pharmaceutical and biopharma companies.

You will be based in the Sales Team, who both work on reoccurring business and new opportunities, you will mainly focus on developing new opportunities together with the Account Managers. The Sales Managers works out of 6 different countries, and the rest of Sales & Marketing works in Køge, Denmark.
The Role Your role will be new in the team and an essential driver of new product launches and deep customer engagements. Responsibilities includes:
  • Building and developing relations with external stakeholders across the value chain, including R&D, Manufacturing and Quality
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers
  • Provide scientific and technical support and troubleshooting to customers
  • Support upcoming product launches with customer beta testing and building of an opportunity pipeline
  • Engage with customer leads on develop new potential customers
  • Be part of Account teams and jointly progress opportunities with sales managers
  • Supporting Product Management around product application projects
  • Feedback market insights on pricing, competition and marketing opportunities to the Marketing team
  • Close collaboration with R&D on upcoming launches and new products Qualifications Are you a biology enthusiast with a knack for cell culture and bioprocessing? If so, we are seeking a qualified candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Educational Background: An MSc or PhD in biology, cell biology, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proficiency in cell culture media and bioprocessing, with a preference for candidates with laboratory experience.
  • Experience Level: Regardless of your career stage, whether you're just starting or a seasoned professional, we encourage you to apply. We can customize the role to match your expertise.
  • In addition, to excel in this customer-facing role, you should possess the following attributes:
  • Exceptional Personality: A great personality coupled with high integrity to engage effectively with customers.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and a proven ability to analyze and overcome challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, particularly in English, are essential.
  • Travel Readiness: Flexibility to travel up to 40 days per year, as required, due to our global clientele.
