To learn more, About we’re looking forWho we’re looking forWe are looking for an experienced Sustainability Specialist to play a key role in driving social sustainability within Topsoe. You will be responsible for further developing our sustainability strategy with a focus on social and governance. You will be coordinating inputs from many parts of the organization using indirect people skills and enthusiasm to move things forward. You will drive and influence our organization, to position Topsoe as a sustainability leader.You will join Global Sustainability - a specialized team in the Global Sustainability and External Affairs unit. Our team is a center of excellence setting direction and offering expertise to the organization, while raising our sustainability profile across the business.Some of the key tasks of the role are:Lead social sustainability strategy and implementation Subject matter expert on the social dimensions of sustainability and advisor to the Topsoe business, driving, influencing, and developing skills within the organization, to position Topsoe as a sustainability leader Lead strategic sustainability reporting, incl. Annual Report, EcoVadis and UN Global Compact reporting Lead the Donations & Community Engagement Framework, revitalizing strategic direction, managing partnerships and ensuring annual reporting of spend (limited assurance) Lead and coordinate material topics aligned with e.g. the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) Lead and coordinate on responsible sourcing with procurement. An experienced, passionate social sustainability specialistStrong in communication and negotiation skillsExperienced in project management and self-motivatedStrong in building relationships and joint efforts across an organization undergoing rapid and transformational changeOf a commercial and global mindset in driving results with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environmentAn executer with business insight and customer focusStrategic and analytical in mindset and demonstrate a high level of initiativeKeeps up to date with emerging legislation, best practice, trends, and stakeholder expectations.Qualifications:Qualifications:You hold a relevant academic degree within sustainability, social impact work or similar Ideally you have at 7 to 10 years relevant experience from the private sector, consultancy or NGO’s Experience in strategy development, change management, project management and indirect leadership of project stakeholders Well-versed in emerging disclosure requirements Having experience from a highly specialized science-based company within the chemical, energy or manufacturing industry would be advantageous Fluency in English – both oral and written. You hold a relevant academic degree within sustainability, social impact work or similarIdeally you have at 7 to 10 years relevant experience from the private sector, consultancy or NGO’sExperience in strategy development, change management, project management and indirect leadership of project stakeholdersWell-versed in emerging disclosure requirementsHaving experience from a highly specialized science-based company within the chemical, energy or manufacturing industry would be advantageousFluency in English – both oral and written.
