Junior IT System Engineer for Teledyne RESON

Can you communicate at different professional and organizational levels and thrive in an independent role?
In this role you need the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring IT Infrastructure is operational and aligned with our internal cyber security standards.
You will furthermore ensure systems and services are updated, monitored and any issues promptly resolved. IT tickets and incidents are mainly 2nd line support, but you will be expected to help users as necessary.
What We Require of You
- 3+ years of hands-on experience within IT Solutioning, Implementation, Migrations.
- 3+ years' experience using VMware virtualization platform
- 3+ years Citrix XenApp/Netscaler experience
- Backup and DR planning experience
- Strong operation experience with Microsoft Servers
- Network proficiency (VLAN, DHPC etc.)
- Experienced in automated installations of workstations and servers
- Microsoft certified: MSCA or MCSE (or equivalent knowledge
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate complex infrastructure issues
- You are fluent in Danish and English - both verbally and written
- A keen attention to detail
Bonus points
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell and/or Bash)
- SharePoint experience
- Linux proficiency
- Cisco CCNA or similar experience
- Jira/Confluence administration
- Docker
Your role
You will be joining a highly skilled team which is passionate about IT and committed to delivering quality service. You will take active part in the technical planning and contribute to ensure IT infrastructure meets corporate standards.
You will be expected to work on projects as a team but also taking on individual projects. You will ensure targets are reached and the delivery of quality results regarding the tasks or projects that are your responsibility.
The IT System Engineer is responsible for all operational aspects of the IT estate that is spread on five sites located in Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Germany and The Netherlands.
Up to 10 days of travel a year is to be expected.
