Designing world-leading electronics
We are 50+ engineers in our Electronics Group. Our main goal is to develop the electronics solutions for all Demant’s hearing instruments and accessories. We have a close collaboration with our Chipset Group, which develops the company’s proprietary ICs. Our team integrates the ICs onto very small PCBs. We furthermore use technologies like Bluetooth & NFMI antennas, magnetic transducers, and rechargeable batteries to finally put the entire hearing instrument system together.
Joining us, you will be involved in all development steps from initial product specification to design and verification and in the end, handover for mass-production. You will take part in the design integration of battery solutions and design electronics platforms against complex technical requirements and a push for smaller and more complex devices. The limited space and high integration level makes it a very challenging task.
We imagine
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, and you have experience and a great interest is working with rechargeable batteries. In addition, you like to share knowledge with other team members, who are just as excited about the tech-world as you are.

- Battery chemistry and technology (Highly preferable)
- Battery charging, protection and safety (Highly preferable)
- Electronics system Integration
- Electronics testing automation and data processing
- General digital and analog design
- Use of simulation for design tradeoffs and early design exploration
- Understanding of design for mass-production
- PCB layout evaluation with signal integrity and safety in mind
- Regulatory requirements, primarily for medical devices and batteries
