A pivotal position creating business development through HR initiatives
In this position, you will become part of a highly dedicated global IT team consisting of app. 600 people with a primary footprint in Poland, Australia, US, Canada, Asia, and Denmark.
As part of the IT management team, your responsibility will be to represent the HR perspective in delivering the overall business strategy and our related Global IT strategy.
While owning the people agenda for IT you will be part of a global network of HR professionals, who all support various parts of Demant’s business areas.
This gives you a unique opportunity to sharpen your skills through sparring with skilled HR professionals and an opportunity to engage in global HR projects and initiatives across business areas.
In your new position you can look forward to a broad variety of tasks and opportunities such as:
• Defining and implementing a people agenda and initiatives that support the IT function´s business goals and ensures overall organizational growth.
• Being a trusted coach and partner to management and senior IT leaders, providing guidance on HR related issues such as talent management, change management, team dynamics and organizational development.
• Being the driver of key leadership processes such as organizational reviews, engagement program, salary reviews, talent management and leadership development
• Promoting international collaboration with HR colleagues in other countries, e.g. Poland, US and Asia
• Overseeing and ensuring, that daily HR tasks in your business are being performed efficiently, with a high quality and in line with our company culture and policies
Summarizing all points, you will have a mix of strategic, tactical and operational activities both in the business and in HR, which will give you a wide exposure to - and engagement in - leadership teams at various levels and allow you to impact the growth of our business.
Extensive HR experience and a true interest in the business
In order to suceed in this position, we imagine that you have a relevant educational background and as well as profound knowledge of HR best practices, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development strategies. You have a true interest in understanding the business, and you can translate that into relevant HR actions.
You have worked for several years as a trusted HR partner for senior management within an international setting with a proven history of having improved processes, strategies and operations to the benefit of the organization. You thrive in a global business environment and work effectively in a matrix environment.
People describe you as an open person with high integrity, someone who engages with others in a direct, friendly and honest manner. You embody persistency and pragmatism, which enables you to be assertive and goal-oriented but at the same time supportive to our business..
