The Position
At Novo Nordisk we have an ambitious vision to grow our activities 10X over the coming years and we therefore need to re-think how we enable a seamless data flow across clinical system ultimately enabling innovative medicines to patients faster and in the right quality. We are looking for several Product Owners to join our Agile Release Trains that develops the new digital solutions that should provide a seamless flow of data and an intuitive work process for the people within DataScience Specifically, we have to strengthen our digital solutions within generative AI and automation to enable that we can utilize new data formats and improve the efficiency of our systems.
As a Product Owner, you will ensure we focus on outcomes that make a difference for our internal and external stakeholders. You will utilise your product thinking in translating business strategy into actionable product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing input from users, strategy and developers, with the goal to build and operate a high-quality solution.
Some of your key activities will be to: Ensure that product discovery is done continuously and put the user perspective in the center Analyse requirements and work closely with stakeholders and users in the organization Maintain and prioritise the backlog for the team in accordance with the overall strategic prioritization set by the Product Manager Drive risk and impact assessment of new requirements, including securing the right level of documentation. Define and drive operational roll-out, support, and communication to end-users. In your role, you will work closely with product managers, scrum masters, subject matter experts and external clinical site staff users to understand the needs of the business, as well as colleagues in Digital, Data & IT Development. Further, you will also work closely with relevant software vendors. We work according to SAFe Agile principles. Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you probably have: Preferably a Master’s degree in relevant area (Business, Design, IT, Engineering, or other related fields) Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar role working closely with development of digital solutions and customers) A passion for building and scaling digital products from problem discovery to realised benefits Positive, solution-oriented mindset with an interest in process optimization and IT system development A holistic approach with a flair for distinguishing needs and recognising priority business requirements, and an eye for simplification Proactive, structured, and strong desire to create real impact for the business
As a person you get energized from solving complex problems and navigating a cross-functional stakeholder landscape to ensure we create high-impact solutions. Besides, you need strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way - and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

You will join the growing Data Science Strategic & Digital Development team. The department is anchored in Data Science (Development) with 800+ employees – across Denmark, Spain, India, and North America, delivering to the wide Novo Nordisk Development pipeline. You will be part of a larger program organisation with cross-functional team members, all working closely together towards our shared vision of transforming our data infrastructure to the benefit of patients in need for innovative treatment solutions.
