If so, then you might be the new intern we are looking for on the Insights & Strategy team within the Submissions & Lifecycle Management (SubLCM) Executive Office. Apply today! About the department  SubLCM is part of the Development (R&D) area in Novo Nordisk pursuing better outcomes for patients through drug development. The Insights & Strategy (I&S) team is responsible for activities ranging from qualitative processes like project management and strategic assessments, to quantitative processes, including data analysis and business intelligence reporting. We aim to drive informed leadership decision making, and to proactively improve current business processes. On the Insights and Strategy team, you will have 10 colleagues of diverse educational and international background. The position Key activities can include, but are not limited to: Data Analytics

Generating analytics insights in Excel (e.g., by analysing Novo Nordisk’s project pipeline speed to market using industry benchmark data)

Creating data visualisations using PowerBI and/or Tableau

Updating and maintaining capacity forecasts across SubLCM

You may also drive various internal development projects with the purpose of improving data quality or optimising processes

Project management/Stakeholder management

Supporting leadership teams in defining and realising strategic aspirations (e.g., through workshops)

Creating presentations and present outcomes on strategic workforce planning and resource forecasting

Helping to analyse business cases for transformational projects (e.g., efficiency gains in drug approval process)

Practicalities:

Internship Period: Full-time for 6 months (it is not possible to work part-time)

Start date: 1 February 2024, or 1 March 2024 (flexible start date)

The I&S team invests heavily in the development of our students and interns. During the 6-month internship you will be expected to play an active role in our team’s success, and to hone your analytical toolkit. We guarantee that you will stay challenged and that you are offered a unique learning experience. On the social side, we like to have fun both in and outside of the office. Our interns and student workers take an active role in organising team activities at our department meetings and offsites, and in organising the team’s social calendar (we meet outside of work at least every second month). Qualifications You are pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree, and have at least 1 year of work experience. To succeed in this role, you will need to be:

Curious, open-minded, eager to learn, ambitious, and have a can-do attitude

Proficient in the MS Office package (Excel, PowerPoint)

Service minded and perceive failure and feedback as a learning opportunities

Fluent in written and spoken English

Additionally, you need to be a team player who can interact respectfully with employees at all levels in a multicultural working environment. Strong candidates may also have experience with data preparation or visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau). Please note, a Danish full-time work permit is required, and applicants must be students for the full duration of the internship. Previous internships and/or relevant student jobs are preferred.
