<p>Are you an experienced civil engineer enthusiastic about creating sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions worldwide? We invite you to join our multinational Bridges and Structures Division based in Copenhagen at Ramboll, a global leader in engineering, design, and consultancy.</p><p>We are seeking experienced Project and Design Managers with 10 to 15 years of experience, eager to explore diverse and exciting civil engineering projects across all stages, from planning through to construction. Our projects are broad-ranging and global, from the widening of motorway E45 Vejle - Skanderborg to marine and underground structures, and from movable bridges to the upcoming station Copenhagen South. Furthermore, we are deeply involved in the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing structures, harnessing the power of advanced technology and AI-driven solutions.</p><p>As a Project or Design Manager, you will become a critical member in carrying out the design work within a project team. Your role will extend beyond traditional project management to include embracing emerging technological trends, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative working culture, and bringing innovation in our design processes.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your responsibilities as a Project or Design Manager:</strong></p><p>Your contribution will be essential to strengthening our ability to deliver projects that are compliant, timely, correct, and within budget. Your role will require coordination with disciplines outside of our division, such as road designers and environmental engineers etc. Furthermore, you will play an important role in sales activities and tender projects, where creativity and adaptability are essential.</p><p><strong>You and your competencies:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a process-oriented structural engineer with between 10 to 15 years of experience in various phases of civil engineering and with at least 5 years of experience within project or design management. Your qualifications should include:</p><ul><li><p>Deep knowledge of the design process working with organizations like Vejdirektoratet or Banedanmark, Deutsche Bahn, Trafikverket, or Nye Veier.</p></li><li><p>Solid communication skills, experience supervising design teams, and inspiring others to create a cohesive unit.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English, spoken as well as written. Proficiency in one of the Nordic languages or German but its not a prerequisite.</p></li><li><p>A dedicated team-oriented person, eager to take initiative to develop our business in terms of improving internal processes, tools, and delivery models, as well as participating in sales activities and extending our customer base. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Join the Bridges and Structures Division:</strong></p><p>Our Division is part of Ramboll’s Transport division in Denmark, with approximately 150 staff members. Traditionally focused on the Danish market, but together with other country units we are now actively pursuing opportunities globally, delivering projects in Scandinavia and in central and southern Europe.
