Denmark is currently facing extensive investments and changes in the railway infrastructure worth billions. One of the investments is in the current S-network which will be converted into a fully automatic S-network. We expect the rollout to be completed in 2037.

Welcome to your future team You will be placed in a cross-functional PMO in “Fremtidens Materielanskaffelser”, which besides planners contains of various specialists within document controlling, risk management and project support. Most of your colleagues are working in different projects and programmes, just as you will mainly work in the Future S-network Programme. Thus, you will have both PMO colleagues with similar planning professions and your day-to-day colleagues in the Future S-network Programme.

An important role in securing that we will get our new Future S-network as planned You will be working, in close collaboration with our Project Planners insuring timely progress. Simultaneously you will assist Project Managers with best practice within planning – theoretically, practically, and technologically. You will play an integral role in providing us with designing and maintenance of our transition of programme plans.
You will be responsible for coordinating the programme plan, monitoring progress, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Solid experience within planning of complex projects and programmes Your strategic mindset, advanced planning skills, and attention to detail will be vital in supporting the effective delivery of transformative initiatives.
You are collaborative, and you understand the importance of relations across professions and organizations. It is important that you are not afraid of taking responsibility to get the job done, and you have an inherent feeling for the many and diverse needs in the organization.
Your educational background is not of great importance, as we are looking for someone with a solid experience within planning of complex projects and programmes – especially within procurement or construction. However, Engineering qualifications and/or railroad experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

- Acquire project overview and knowledge across all projects to be able to answer questions from the stakeholders associated with the program
- Organize and carry out the monthly planning reporting including communication of progress and forecasts
- Identify and maintain program dependencies, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of interdependencies and potential impacts.
- Manage and guide regarding use of the planning tool (Primavera) and be superuser within the common tool and a general profound knowledge about MS Project
- Develop and maintain comprehensive programme plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

We imagine that you
- Have genuine interest in detail analyses or deep diving into the given tasks
- Have documented experience with designing and establishing project schedules and portfolio/programme plans
- Have a solid knowledge of best practice methods and tools – including extensive knowledge of MS Project Professional and Primavera as well
- Might have experience with PRINCE2 and MSP
- Develop processes for monitoring, controlling, and reporting on progress, which accommodate the needs of the Programme Management with consideration to the time of the project members involved.
