Asetek is looking for a new Product Manager for our SimSports line of products. Do you want to join a dedicated and dynamic team working on innovative products within the simulator gaming sector? We at Asetek threw ourselves headfirst into the SimSports market last year and have made amazing strides in a very short time, setting new market standards with our premium hydraulic cylinder pedals, and recently launching a more reasonable load-cell alternative. Our ambition doesn’t stop there, we want to become a next-level immersive sim racing hardware provider and do this while staying close to our heritage from the “real” racing industry, as well as our technical capabilities as an innovative and quality hardware producer.

You will be reporting to Dennis Vesterbæk Hampe, Manager of B2C Marketing & Product Development and be a part of the Branding and Outbound Marketing team. You should expect to work in a multicultural environment and furthermore, 20-30 travel days a year.
You will be part of a dynamic team, that always seeks to challenge the status quo. There’s a high degree of autonomy and an informal atmosphere. We expect that you are not afraid of taking initiative, committing and being ready to ‘send it’.

Key Responsibilities As our Product Manager, you will be working with:
- Product Strategy – assortment, sizes, structure etc.
- Market Research – making sure we develop products that fits the market
- Product Master Data – EAN, UPC, SKU etc.
- Packaging – Inception to production. You will be tasked with coming up with the packaging and developing it ground up in cooperation with our graphics team, R&D team and external packaging consultant
- Event, Tradeshow participation as well as B2B partner visits.
- Market Analysis
- Product Marketing
- Product Roadmap
Requirements To succeed in this role, we expect:
- You have a background in either:
- Product Management, preferably with physical technology products
- Marketing and a passion for understanding the market and developing products that “fit”
- Engineering / Craftmanship and a profound understanding of, and interest in, products and what makes them succeed in the marketplace.
- Experience with marketing or product management
- B2C experience
- You are able to work in our HQ in Aalborg, Denmark
- Ability to plan and organize your workday
- Good communicator, friendly and helpful
- Self-driven, energetic, and passionate
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
