The position As a (Senior) Business Analyst in Corporate Procurement, you will work in close collaboration with experienced business partners, BI professionals, and ESG stakeholders across our global organisation to generate the most insights from big ESG data. You will be part of a BI team consisting of strong and experienced analysts, data scientists and data engineer where you will be responsible for: • Acting as a trusted insights partner within Corporate Procurement, driving the development and continuous enhancement of Travel dashboard reporting on CO2 emission generated from various travel activities (primarily business flights) • Driving continuous improvements in our data collection process through collaboration with vendor(s) • Designing and driving implementation of Travel data governance framework to improve data quality Qualifications As our ideal candidate, you are expected to: • Have completed a master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar with excellent results • Have 2-4 years of working experience, preferably with unstructured big data collection and modelling from various data sources • Navigate within a complex stakeholder landscape • Have hands-on experience with Power BI and Alteryx (while experience with other program languages such as Python is a plus) As a person, you are structured in your problem-solving approach, detail-oriented while able to maintain a holistic view, curious, think out of the box and willing to explore multiple unconventional approaches. Your colleagues can describe you as a strong team member with can-do attitude. About the department Corporate Procurement is the Centre of Excellence for procurement in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for the global procurement strategy, processes, and systems. We negotiate contracts covering more than DKK 50 billion of Novo Nordisk’s spend. Global Procurement has 500 employees around the world with the largest hubs in Denmark, India and the US. A key enabler for taking Procurement to the next level will be to utilise advanced analytics and data modelling further to drive value in and from procurement.
