The position
You will join an Injectable Finished Products (IFP) unit that is the largest unit of Product Supply in Novo Nordisk and is still growing. As a Procurement Partner, you will be responsible for driving process excellence, optimization projects and digitalization journey. On top of that, you will be involved in strategic discussions with the procurement teams of the IFP manufacturing sites. Key responsibilities include:
• Driving standardization in the procurement value chain for Denmark (DK) sites, including sourcing principles, processes, systems, and supplier management
• Identifying potential for digitalization and running improvement projects in collaboration with the HQ procurement functional areas and the digitalization team
• Reporting procurement performance through the monthly procurement report
• Creating and communicating data insights to improve procurement performance
• Driving network meetings within the IFP DK procurement network, where we unite to continuously improve our procurement practices and set strategic directions
You will be based in Product Supply headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark and it will be expected that you visit the production sites in Bagsværd, Kalundborg and Hillerød when needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who demonstrates an exemplary ability in cultivating and managing stakeholder relationships through great communication skills. Our ideal candidate knows how to navigate a complex organizational landscape. To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
• MSc in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or similar
• At least 3 years of work experience within procurement, supply chain or manufacturing, preferably in highly regulated industry
• Experience with sourcing-to-contract and purchase-to-pay processes as well as some experience with project and change management
• Knowledge of SAP and Coupa is an advantage
• Professional proficiency in English; advanced knowledge of Danish is an advantage
On a personal level, you can adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent support to colleagues across the organization. You possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.
About the department
IFP Finance and Procurement (F&P) team is a part of IFP Business Support, located in the Bagsværd HQ. We are a team of around 60 people from ~20 countries. IFP F&P team is responsible for both financial processes and procurement performance. We are a trusted partner to the organization, focusing on financial and procurement excellence, productivity as well as expanding the production network in the future.
You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 15 colleagues. Our team leverages our distinct perspectives to generate innovative ideas and high-quality solutions that continuously improve the global IFP organization.
