Then you might be the Category Analyst we are looking for to join our growing Raw Material team in Strategic Sourcing department. The position As Category Analyst, your main focus will be to gather & analyze data, conduct market research, and support strategic initiatives within the Raw Material team. Your responsibilities will include: Creating category-specific reports and gathering data to support business intelligence procurement strategies and decision-making processes Researching the supply market to obtain valuable insights and trends, providing critical information for strategic procurement planning Performing business and procurement analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization Supporting the Category Manager in strategic work, such as the creation of sourcing strategies Maintaining and updating category-specific databases and dashboards to ensure accurate and accessible information You will be collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Therefore, there might be the need to travel in or outside Europe (5 to 10 days per year). Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold a master’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain, engineering or any other relevant field Possess a previous experience in data analysis and a good knowledge of data analytics tools Have a keen interest in developing your career within Strategic Sourcing Be fluent in English, both spoken and written As a person with strong analytical skills, you have an eye for details and a creative, problem-solving approach. Your effective communication skills, coupled with a curious and proactive nature, enable you to thrive in a high-paced environment. Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in ’s Product Supply division. We are responsible for securing that we have suppliers in place that can support ’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that helps millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases. Joining our team, you will be surrounded by several experienced Category Managers, allowing you to continue your development within the sourcing domain.
