Business Product Owner (BPO) Sales on Water

As our Business Product Owner (BPO)-Sales on Water, you’re responsible for the guidance of assigned product category in accordance with the product and charge governance processes and frameworks. You will also drive innovation and development of market leading products with proven strong value propositions to the Maersk customers.
You will report to the Head of Ocean Value Added Services - Ocean Products. The team consists of 8 other Business Product Owners (BPOs).

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product portfolio and makes step-change improvements in revenue
• Manage and enforce a standardized approach to validations of business opportunities and governance
• End-to-end product management: identifying customer needs, development, testing and owning the lifecycle of a product
• Evaluate and govern products for assigned product category
• Revision and maintenance of the product catalogue through active collaboration with the team
• Working actively as a virtual team, in synergy, based on the needs, and developing areas of collaboration and cross-team processes
Who we’re looking for
• You have solid experience in Project and Product Management; within the shipping/logistics or related industry will be an advantage
• You’re a motivated team-player with a desire to contribute to our vision and transform the product management landscape to drive better customer outcomes
• You’re energetic, open, and passionate about contributing to creating great processes and ocean products
• You are comfortable exploring uncertain territories, for example, shifting priorities or facing unfamiliar problems
• You can work with stakeholders across the globe and ensure their buy-in when driving new ideas, change management is crucial
• You understand that excellent processes together with new technologies are key to delivering on the integrator strategy and you want to help drive Maersk towards becoming a product and process driven organisation
