Maersk is looking for a regional Technology Business Partner (TBP) to be the interface between technology, frontline employees, and our customers.
You will work closely work with our customers and internal business and operational senior stakeholders to make technology account plans, align on regional technology roadmaps and bring the Maersk technology vision alive though enablement of the solutions available to our customers.
A successful candidate will have the perfect balance of business and technology acumen, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into customer value adding roadmaps and outcomes.Your responsibilities:
You will be the simple interface into Technology (Not the gatekeeper but the trusted guide) to ensure the customer get technology services and solutions needed to fulfil their overall vision within the assigned region.
- Partner with the business to provide consultancy and advisory services related to requests for new technology offerings
- Technology account ownership of key clients in the Europe/Middle East/West Central Asia region including technology account planning, program management of the account’s tech activities and demonstrating value from the digital initiatives.
- Collaborate and coach Maersk employees to understand technology requests, change and new initiatives processes.
- In conjunction with engineering colleagues and platform product owners, conduct technology options analysis to identify recommended solutions to business problems.
- Build and drive successful relationships across the business promoting a best for business approach to solutions and delivery priorities
We are looking for someone with the following skills and competences:
- The ability to understand key business requirements and opportunities
- Business Partnering / Relationship Management
- Sound basic IT foundation and ask appropriate / challenging questions to get to the heart of the business problem.
- Experience with account planning and value proposition building
- Strong relationship with business stakeholders that engender trust, confidence in their recommendations and acceptance of input and challenge
- Understanding of principles of business analysis and/or solutions architecture
- Facilitation of workshop
- Ensures provision of timely initial responses to business problems/queries/concepts
- Be the link between the business and the technology teams at an operational level for process improvements and solution enhancements
- Demonstrate the contribution of technology and projects to the business objectives, identify change to solutions/process that contributes to delivery of KPI's
- Able and willing to travel based on business requirements, 2-3 weeks per year.
- Relevant educational background within engineering or business
