The Network Strategy and Platforms organization is building world-class technology solutions to manage our network execution in such a way that we deliver on our customer promises while also optimizing our cost base. As a Senior Product Manager you will define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap to build and enhance enterprise applications used to predict, optimize and execute for our Equipment Management business serving our customers and users. This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, business development, operations, and other product teams within the company to bring new capabilities and features to market while also managing products throughout their life cycle. The scope of our products is global and is strategic for Maersk integrator vision, therefore we're looking for Product Managers who know how to build products that will scale globally and to new businesses rapidly.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess high degree of initiative and intuition, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into high quality, simple products that customers love.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision for products within Equipment flow and availability management space
- Build a roadmap of product features to get to that vision
- Develop detailed and crisp business requirements to create product specifications
- Contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy for the product
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business needs, technical limitations, performance, and operational constraints
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders
What you bring
- Experienced product manager, capable of managing complex roadmaps working in collaboration with technology, science, UX, customers and business users
- Passionate about using technology to deliver value to customers
- Strong analytical skills and intuition with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate hypotheses and make decisions
- A natural interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimization of processes
- Distilling user needs into insights further translating these to digital journeys and roadmap items
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and drive alignment towards product strategy
- Ability to stay motivated in a fast-moving ambiguous environment while still continuing to deliver results
- Independent and self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning
Preferred background:
- Previous product management experience with a background in logistics and supply chain management preferred
