You will join our Custom Application Development team
NNIT’s Custom Application Development is an ambitious department with a key importance to NNIT’s strategy. We focus on supporting our customers in bringing their business strategies to life through Customer Experience and Application Transformation.

Our customers expect us to know about upcoming trends and that we are at the forefront in terms of technical solutions. Your career will include continuous training and competence development to support our department and your personal ambitions.
Together with your team, you will have the responsibility for adding new functionality and features to new and existing systems within our portfolio of custom developed solutions. We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems over a longer period, based on a deep understanding of the customers’ business needs.
Your responsibilities as a Product Owner
As a Product Owner, you will handle customer contact professionally and secure quality solutions within our custom application development. As a Product Owner you will be expected:
- To analyze, document and clarify our customers’ business objectives to design viable technical solutions together with your colleagues.
- To work closely with your colleagues as well as internal stakeholders to guarantee the quality of deliverables for our customers.
- To identify technical risks inherent in the solutions against the underlying business requirements.
- To contribute to communities of practice and knowledge sharing between projects.
As a colleague you are seen as a team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with both customers and colleagues both in Denmark and abroad. We work in global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines. We believe that it is important to develop - both as individuals and as an organization - and you have significant influence on planning your own career.
You possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant master’s degree.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of software development in a similar role.
- Consulting mind-set coupled with the ability to develop the right solutions by exercising your drive for results.
- You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills in both speech and writing.
- Experience with customer interaction in a professional way with a high level of respect for the customer’s requirements
- Experience with IT in the Public sector is an advantage.
You can work both in a team and independently and engage with your colleagues in knowledge sharing about the experience gained in your projects. You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and you find gratification in helping your colleagues to shine, because you know that a strong performance requires the engagement of the entire team.
