The position
As a Global Sustainability project lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of strategies. We are looking for two candidates one that will be based in our Global Equity team aimed at improving access and affordability for patients across therapeutic areas and one in our Corporate environmental strategy team progressing towards zero environmental impact. Both positions will work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to drive operational excellence in pursuit of our goals.
The responsibilities will include:
• Acting as a Centre of Excellence (COE) for access and affordability strategy or the Circular for Zero strategy including, future development of the strategies, reporting and data analysis
• Ensure timely and professional deliverables towards Senior Management and other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams across Global Public affairs and sustainability such as ESG Strategy and Intelligence, GBS, and other departments to ensure alignment and excellence in these areas
• Developing, implementing, and refining reporting methodologies for critical metrics related to access and affordability, such as patient reach, sales, and product quantities
• Working together with various parts of the organization, including GBS, Product Supply, Finance, International Operations, and regional affiliates, to synthesize information, develop business cases and presentations and provide forward-looking forecasts to inform decision-making
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• A relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering
• Extensive experience in managing projects with complex quantitative data from a top-tier strategy/management consultancy, investment bank, accounting firm, or other global organization, preferably within the field of sustainability, ESG, reporting, and/or global health
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects, incl. project planning, issue-driven problem solving, senior management communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Proven data management and analysis skills (experience with coding and more sophisticated data management tools is a plus)
• Strong interpersonal skills

We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross- organisational projects, drive environmental intelligence and ensure internal and external communication leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint. The area consists of 20 dedicated project managers and specialists, all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk.
