The Position As Director of Platform Conceptualization, you will be reporting to the CVP for Delivery Solution Innovation and have the responsibility of establishing objectives and achieving outcomes that significantly influence departmental results and play a role in the overall outcomes of the CVP area. Your task will include implementing and delivering on strategic priorities while also exerting influence on the overarching direction for building our future portfolio of delivery solutions. This role requires extensive experience across various job functions and a profound understanding of organizational objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: • Conceptualizing platforms aligned with the Novo Nordisk ambition and priorities, emphasizing departmental engagement, well-being, and balanced goals, translating business priorities into operational plans, fostering a shared vision of success, promoting employee development, and encouraging cross-organizational collaboration. • Overseeing cross-functional innovation projects spanning multiple job families and supporting key decision-making throughout project lifecycles, from the early pre-project stage to conceptual lock/platform initiation. • Defining clear goals and establishing effective systems to ensure innovation projects use time and resources efficiently, boost employee motivation, and build and maintain appropriate capabilities, tools, and methods. • Collaborating with the CVP to establish, communicate, and achieve departmental goals, ensuring timely task completion and continuous improvements. • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders for effective communication within the team, department, DDS value chain, and external partners, including international interactions as needed. Qualification To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: A master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in one or more core competencies within medical device research and development, such as Design, Engineering, Materials, systems engineering and architecture etc.. At least 5 years of leadership experience in similar roles, preferably with experience in drug-device combination products, medical devices, or related fields. A minimum of 10 years of documented experience in cross-organizational projects, including areas such as production, marketing, clinical operations, scouting, and more. Experience in project management within regulated industries and/or Device Manufacturing Development. Fluency in both written and spoken English at a negotiation level. On a personal level, you are distinguished by your stakeholder management, with strong presentation and professional communication skills, which allow you to inspire and motivate others, driving high-quality and high-speed performance. You have clear and direct communication, and with empathy, effectively setting direction for and managing people and projects. Furthermore, your commitment to innovation and delivering value to all stakeholders and patients is unwavering. Your passion for leadership, innovation, and making a significant impact within Device and Delivery Solution is palpable.
