Are you a skilled people-first clinical operations executive? Do you have profound leadership experience and are you experienced in driving and bringing forward clinical projects?
The position
ALK is looking to bring onboard a robust, people-first clinical operations executive to take on the leadership of the global clinical project management team at ALK. The team consists of 15 Clinical Project Managers and Assistants dedicated to the management, coordination and accomplishment of effective, successful and impactful global clinical trials.
The responsibilities of the Director, Clinical Project Management incorporate overall responsibility for the leadership and coordination of global clinical trials at ALK. Moreover, the role will take a seat on the Global Clinical Development (GCD) Leadership Team – including Biometrics, Medical Writing, Clinical Trial Supply and Clinical Project Management - and will take part in setting the strategic direction of Global Clinical Development at ALK.
Your qualifications
The ideal candidate for the role will not only bring relevant leadership experience and professional competencies within trial- and clinical project management, but also carry a sincere desire to drive and bring forward clinical projects, which ultimately improves quality of life for the millions of people suffering from allergies all over the world. Finally, a clear drive, motivation and aspiration for leveraging oneself, peers and colleagues altogether throughout the journey of delivering life-improving allergy immunotherapy solutions, is key.

Furthermore, we expect you to
- Have a natural science degree – supplemented with management training
- Have extensive experience with clinical development in a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology company and/or a contract research organisation
- Have leadership experience (strategy setting, influencing and communication)
- Bring managerial experience – preferably from across geographies
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
