We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join an exciting project where your key responsibility is the project management for the foundation design works.
Location: Copenhagen, onsite
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Graduate degree in structural engineering, with preferably 10+ years’ experience with offshore structural engineering and 5 years of experience with project management (foundation design)
- Proven experience, knowledge and competence in PM equivalent to IPMA level D or higher or PMI PMP
- Been part of a full detailed offshore foundation design, having a senior role (e.g. Design manger, Lead specialist)
- • Strong communication skills and the ability to promote a motivating atmosphere in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment, driving progress and solutions towards the target
- Ability to plan and execute large complex projects, while also having the skill of deep dive into technical topics
- Be able to remain focused in a busy working environment
- Strong command of English, both verbally and written
- Innovative mindset
- Able to start right away
- Valid EU work permit
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure that the detailed design is executed in accordance with the Company’s HSSE regulations, incl. plan/facilitate the mandatory Design Risk Assessments (DRA) throughout the design phase
- Establish the project specific design team and manage during the process
- Ensure timely reporting to CIV management and project management, on progress, risk, and contractual highlights
- Establish detailed design timeline and execute accordantly
- Ensure all project specific requirements from stakeholders are implemented into the design. Tasks can be delegated
- Plan and steer the integrated load analysis with WTG Supplier and ensure overall design alignment between the two packages
- Review and approve/reject invoices from external contractors
- Deliver Approved for Construction (AFC) design in accordance with the CIV project plan
- Facilitate and deep dive engagement in technical challenges
- Ensure detailed design is executed in accordance with VF line instructions (DaMS)
- Ensure delivery of optimized design
- Coordinate with Cert. Manager on the detailed design certification process
- Provide support to Civil manufacturing manager during the manufacturing phase
- Provide support to the Civil installation manager during the installation phase
