The position As Global Commercial Director, you will take on a temporary assignment of 10-11 months, with responsibility for driving key strategic commercial decisions to prepare for the successful launch of a new product in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). You will provide strong direction on how we can maximize launch uptake and commercial success within the relatively narrow period of exclusivity. This will include strong consideration of the new product portfolio and interdependencies, go-to-market strategies, commercial partnerships, LCM, and LoE. Please note that this temporary role has the potential to become a permanent position based on job performance, attendance, and other factors. We can offer a virtual working environment, provided that you can work within Danish working hours. In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional, and affiliate offices, you will: Lead commercial efforts in the execution of endorsed strategy, develop a full go-to-market and commercial model for the target scenario Join the Global Project Team (GPT) and governance meetings to represent and drive key commercial workstreams Identify commercial internal/external partnerships Secure strong commercial input inclusive of regions to key strategic workstreams to maximize success at launch and throughout the lifecycle Explore device strategy Drive or provide input to select governance and strategy presentations and reporting Contribute to commercial and cross-functional strategy work and Therapeutic Area (TA) development This role requires excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication, fast pace and agile navigation of the NN structures and governances, effective reporting to management on the status and progress of the projects under the area of responsibility, assuring necessary competencies and quality, evaluating and mitigating risks and assuring high-quality communication with project stakeholders. This role requires the ability to effect change through engagement and influence. Qualifications To succeed in the role, you have: Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, Medicine, or another relevant field Strong experience with product launch planning/execution Experience in leading systematic problem-solving and extensive experience working across the value chain e.g. Global or Operations experience Strong content and strategy development and implementation skills Significant proven project management experience of highly complex projects and (+8 years) of pharmaceutical industry experience, with specific experience in global pre-commercial strategy; experience in neurology is preferred On a personal level, you are results-oriented and understand the interplay between functions to deliver a successful launch. Excellentproject and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive complex decision-making in a matrix organization. The Alzheimer’s Disease Commercial is part of the CETA in Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs in HQ and the job is located in Søborg, Denmark. You will report to the Vice President of Alzheimer’s Disease Commercial and you will be joining a team of energetic and driven marketing professionals engaged in leading innovative commercial strategies and launches across the global organisation.
