Want to take on the responsibility to expand our public affairs efforts both in Denmark and internationally and secure Terma’s interests?

As a senior public affairs advisor, you will play a critical part in taking Terma’s external relations to the next level. With a reference to the VP of Public Affairs and Communications and a close and frequent contact to the executive management you will be able to make a real impact in strengthening Terma’s relations with key stakeholders.

You will have a key role in the organization and therefore you will be collaborating with many different internal stakeholders from both senior managers, project managers to engineers as well as our relations with key stakeholders in government, organizations, etc.

You will be part of a department covering both communications and public affairs. We are transitioning towards a global scope, and we welcome your new ideas and ways of working, and there is room for you to build and shape the position in collaboration with the team.

Your responsibilities will cover:

• Relations with Danish ministries and authorities, especially Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Business.
• Relations with Danish and international business associations, i.e., DI
• Relations with Danish defense industry both in Denmark and globally
• Special responsibility in regard to business development in the Arctic

How to succeed in this position?
We expect you to have a relevant educational background and at least 8-10 years of experience working with public affairs/communication in a company, organization, or in government. As a person you are outgoing and proactive, and we expect you to be adaptable as the daily agenda can rapidly change. We are looking for the following specific skills:

• In-depth understanding of and experience with government relations
• Excellent written communication skills in both Danish and English
• Experience from working in an international environment is an advantage
