Welcome to the team Group Business Controlling
You will become a part of the team in Group Business Controlling, located in Smørum and two locations in Poland.
Our team has a broad finance scope as we work closely with the management teams on financial performance and driving business results.
Key responsibilities of the team include financial performance reporting and -analysis, managing budget and forecasts processes, supporting commercial market managers, and engaging in a wide variety of finance related interactions with the business. We are part of the Group Finance organization and work closely with key stakeholders, such as Business area management, Group management and Investor Relations.
Working internationally
You will join the part of the team with primary focus on the large Hearing Aids business area. Your focus will be on interacting with the commercial organization. It’s a unique opportunity to learn and grow – both individually and as a team – and thereby supporting our journey to the next level.
As both the business grows and we engage deeper as Finance business partners, we are expanding the team with the role described here. Overall, you will have the responsibility to support and challenge the commercial sales and marketing organization on analysis, reporting and processes.
Your role
You will be supporting the Vice President of Group Business Controlling on overall coordination of planning and reporting activities in the Hearing Aids business area, where you will also work closely with Group FP&A, Financial Controlling and other teams in Finance. This involves monthly and quarterly reporting and presentations to Business- and Group management.
You will take on the finance partner role towards selected markets where we have own sales companies. In this role you will engage with the market manager to support manage the business from a finance performance perspective. This includes controlling and analyzing reporting from the sales company, having dialogue with local finance and understanding their reporting and ensuring quality and business insights.
Also, your tasks will include:
The job involves a high level of engagement with and exposure to the Business area- and the senior management group.
Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration, Finance or similar and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience from a related job position.
Good interpersonal skills
As a person, you have a friendly and approachable nature that makes it easy for you to engage with others. You have good business insight and understanding of financial and strategic analysis. And have a good sense of quality.

You should expect approximately 10-15 travel days yearly.

- Manage the budget process for Hearing aids, including continuous improvement of the process, analysis, and budget reporting.
- Coordinate our strategic financial outlooks and updates.
- Develop Hearing aids reporting and analysis in general.
- Develop and manage the process for optimizing networking capital.
- Assist in developing a global network to strengthen global finance coordination in Demant.
- Engage in projects and activities broadly with business management to improve financial performance in the Group.
The job involves a high level of engagement with and exposure to the Business area- and the senior management group.
Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration, Finance or similar and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience from a related job position.
- You are structured, good at coordinating and a strong communicator in both verbal and written English.
- You have experience with financial reporting from a financial performance perspective.
- You have good understanding of external financial reporting and experience bridging internal and external principles.
- You have experience from global budgeting processes from a larger Group.
- You are a proactive user of IT systems and have experience with excel and financial consolidation and planning systems.
- Your mindset is data-oriented with good numerical skills and interest in improvements of processes,
