You will take on a broad and challenging role of a controller in close cooperation with highly educated and competent colleagues in a company that makes a real difference to the environment. Working with the bespoke projects, you will have a great influence on the waste-to energy-and biomass plants of the future.
As a part of the controller team, you will be responsible for following up on the economy of typically 2-3 of current and future new build plant projects. The follow-up will take place in close cooperation with the company management, the project managers, the finance department and the other controllers. A project life cycle for a new build plant is 2-3 years. Your work will be an essential part of the success of the final project.
At the same time, you will have a broad contact interface with both internal and external stakeholders as well as great opportunities for achieving greater responsibility and job weight.
• Support the project managers with economy control
• Prepare project economy reports
• Assess projects in respect of turnover, contribution margin, cash flow and currency flow
• Participate in monthly project meetings, preparing monthly economic follow-ups, and offering input for the preparation of budgets
• Prepare monthly/quarterly economic statements (e.g. of liquidity and unforeseen expenses) and establish and maintain optimal systems for ensuring reliable project follow-up
• Prepare the basis for the invoicing and follow up on debtors

Furthermore, you:
• Have project controlling experience
• Have a drive and a structured approach
• Have a relevant education on bachelor‘s level or master‘s level as well as experience from a similar position, preferably from the energy sector or similar line of business
• Are an Excel super user, and SAP experience is a requirement
• Have insight in and experience with engineering and construction contracts or international projects, an advantage, but not a requirement.
